My Go-To Winter Makeup

There’s been a few particular point makeup items I’ve been grabbing this winter (not including eyeliner, mascara and base makeup  – I’ll write about that in a separate post).

Eye Shadow

Etude House Play Color Eyes Wine Party

#마라톤 완주 (Marathon Finish)
I use this pinkish brown shimmer shade all over my upper eyelid and on the outer corner of my lower lid.

#마지막 잎새  (The Last Leaf)
I blend this warm dark brown shimmer shade on the outer corner of my upper and lower eyelid and lightly over the crease making sure it’s not too dark.

#블링한 드레스 코드 (Bling Dress Code)
I pop a bit of this glittery gold shade on the center of my eyelid and on the inner corner of my lower lid, to make my eyes sparkle.

#우아한 보르도 와인 (Elegant Bordeaux Wine)
I use this dark purple/ plum shade to slightly soften my eyeliner and give a subtle smokiness.

Blusher

Charlotte Tilbury Cheek To Chic

Charlotte Tilbury Cheek to Chic Love Glow

#Love Glow
I love using this pretty pearlescent pink on my cheeks. It gives a nice glow to my complexion. I swish the outer colour across my cheeks towards my hairline making a figure of 3 back down towards my lower jaw. I then pop the middle colour just on the apples of my cheeks and blend.

Lipstick

Bioderma Atoderm Moisturising Stick

Bioderma Lip Balm

I first use this light weight lip balm to hydrate my lips.

Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet Lipstick

Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet Lipstick

#07 Nude-Ist
I then dot a little bit of this matte dusty rose lip lacquer on my lips and blend it out to create a subtle gradient.

Final Look

Simply Saima My Go-To Winter Makeup

I’d love to know what you’ve been using this winter, and if you’ve used any of the products I’ve mentioned in this post, what do you think of them?
