In today’s post I will be sharing my thoughts on the COSRX Propolis Light Ampoule that I got in the Day 16 box of the Beauty & Seoul 2021 Advent Calendar.
About The Product
This nourishing ampoule by CORX is formulated with 83% Bee Propolis Extract. Non-sticky, the Full Fit Propolis Light Ampoule has natural antibacterial and anti-inflammatory ingredients, helping to soothe troubled skin and reduce redness. This ampoule is gentle enough to use for sensitive skin types.

My Experience
I love the healing properties of propolis and actually wanted to try this COSRX Propolis Light Ampoule to compare with other propolis ampoules I have, which I will write about in a future post.
For now I’ll focus on my experience with the COSRX Propolis Light Ampoule only. I found that the ampoule comes out like a glob of syrup but melts down to a much thinner consistency as I apply it to my skin. It feels nourishing but slightly sticky until it fully absorbs, depending on how much I’ve used or what toner I have used under it. I found that minimal layers is ideal for my combination skin type, so I either apply a very lightweight toner first or only apply a light layer of the COSRX Propolis Light Ampoule straight after cleansing to allow it to absorb better into my skin and prevent it from feeling temporarily sticky.
My main use for the COSRX Propolis Light Ampoule is for the healing properties of propolis on my acne rather than moisturising properties, however with long term use I know the nourishing properties also do a lot of good for the overall health of my skin. I find that I can get results from any product containing propolis at a high percentage, so in this case it’s great to have 83% propolis in the COSRX Propolis Light Ampoule which means it will work well, however the 72% of propolis in the toner from the same line is just as effective for me, and I prefer the light feeling of the toner in comparison. People with dry skin may like the ampoule more, but I prefer the toner. What I do like about the slightly syrupy nature of the ampoule however is that it’s easier to spot treat pimples which really helps in targeting and focussing on the healing of specific areas rather than the whole complexion.
I would definitely repurchase this to spot-treat my acne whenever I have flare-ups.
